We know that being a sustainable hotel means more than growing your own herb garden and reducing emissions. It also means supporting your local community and giving back to society.
That is why we are continually sourcing the highest quality local produce and materials, supporting small and local businesses producers as much as possible.
We are also working with the green schools committee at the Institute Technology of Carlow where our staff are taking part in workshops and other environmental events that are being ran by the Institute of Technology Carlow Green Campus to keep us up to-date with environmental trends and new ways we can prevent harm to our planet.
We took part in a fundraising event in aid of the Irish Special Olympics called March Marathon where the staff at the hotel ran/cycled/walked a marathon together and raised money for such a great cause.
