Spring Events

Spring has arrived in full swing at The Woodford Dolmen Hotel. Our floral displays are in full bloom around the hotel hall. After a busy Christmas period, we are looking forward to this March and the beginning of April with a variety of upcoming events.

Early March Events

March is a busy month at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel as we have another Country Dancing Weekend running from Friday 1st March – Sunday 3rd March starring artists such as Michael Collins, Checkers, and Andy Feery. It is also time to welcome The National Association of Regional Game Councils for their Annual Conference. We host the Student Enterprise Programme on March 7th. This programme is Ireland’s Biggest & Most Successful programme for Young Student Entrepreneurs, so we are delighted to be doing our part to help in hosting this event.

Bring Your Dancing Shoes

The dancing scene is still very much in full swing as we are delighted to host Ciaran Rosney for a night of dancing on Friday March 8th and in addition, Patrick Feeney & Band will be joining us on Friday March 15th to keep the dancing swiftly moving at the hotel.

Sports Events

There are also a few sports events happening this month at the hotel. We also welcome Clonmore GAA Club for the Annual Dinner Dance on March 2nd and Castle Villa Football Club on April 19th for their fundraising event, while Carlow Rugby Club join us for their Dinner Dance on April 6th.

Tina Turner Tribute

Proud Mary is coming to Carlow Saturday March 23rd. We welcome the exhilarating Proud Mary and Her City Limits Band as they pay tribute to the life and greatest hits of Tina Turner. With high-energy vocals and Tinas’ signature moves, this electrifying experience is not to be missed. Expect an explosive live performance of Tinas’ greatest hits including Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits, What’s Love Got to Do with It, plus many more!

April Events

April is another very busy month at the hotel as The International Pan Celtic Festival takes place in Carlow from the 2nd – 6th of April. Join the Pan Celtic Festival ‘Céilí Mór’ with The Kilfenora Céilí Band on Friday, April 5th at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel. We are delighted to host The Scouting Ireland Conference again this year on April 20th. On April 24th. We also welcome the Carlow County Council Women in Business Powerhouse; we are delighted to host this group of wonderful businesswomen.

Recruitment Day at Woodford Dolmen Hotel

On an additional note, The Woodford Dolmen Hotel is hosting a Recruitment Day on 21st April. We invite those looking for employment to come in to meet the Management Team, drop in their CV and put their hat in the ring for the various roles which are currently and will become available in the future.
