Room Hire Rate Changes

Budget 2025 and 2026

As a result of measures announced in the October Budget and set out in the Finance Bill 2025, Effective from 1st January 2026, there will be a 9.5% increase in the rate of VAT from 13.5% to 23% for room hire for non-accommodation purposes. This will apply to all meetings, conferences and events room hire.

In addition, rising operational and maintenance costs mean we must adjust our annual pricing to ensure we continue to provide the high-quality facilities and service you expect from us.

This updated VAT rate and revised room hire pricing will apply to all new bookings and to future dates on existing annual agreements.
