Deep within the gardens of the Woodford Dolmen Hotel lies a hidden world where magic stirs in the breeze and wonder waits around every corner. One enchanted morning, tiny fairy doors began to appear on ancient tree trunks, crafted from acorns, pebbles, and flower petals.Â
From that day on, the Fairy Kingdom came to life, filling the gardens with magic, wonder, and hidden surprises.
Keep your eyes open… you never know when a fairy might be nearby.Â
Twinkel & Poppy
Twinkle of Starpetal Cottage is a night fairy who paints stars with her shimmer brush. Her glowing blue door, pink windows, and yellow star help woodland creatures drift off to sleep. Poppy Flitterdust of Moonberry Nook collects raindrops and turns them into glittery giggle bubbles. Her spotty blue door and red and yellow windows sparkle whenever she and Twinkle share a giggle.
Bumbleberry & Flora
Bumbleberry of the red acorn Nook loves collecting forest berries to make sparkly jam for her fairy friends. Her bright red teardrop door and purple flowers make her home extra cheerful. Flora of Blossom Tower is a painter fairy who lives in a tall pink and purple tower with a twinkling blue roof. Her magical murals brighten every wall.
Bella & Tilly
Bella Jinglejoy of Tumbletwig Tower loves throwing surprise tea parties for beetles and butterflies. Her bright green and pink door welcomes visitors to her delightfully wonky home. Tilly Thistle of The Tumbledown Treehouse delivers magical leaves, leaving a glittery trail wherever she goes. Her cozy treehouse has a mint green door and blue and red shutters.Â
Dotty & Starshine
Dotty Redcap of The Ladybird Cottage shares her home with friendly ladybirds and teaches bugs how to dance. Her bright red door is surrounded by tiny mushrooms with yellow polka dots. Starshine of Glowing Grotto paints with sunshine using flowers as her palette. Come near and you will see her bright blue door and glowing yellow and purple lights shine magical.
Finn & Lila
Finn Flutter of Enchanted Grove is a tiny inventor whose beautifully painted home has a starry red door and yellow and blue windows. He even built the round seats outside for resting pixies! Lila Fernsong of Mosswhistle Cottage sings to plants to help them grow. Her cozy cottage, with its blue door and green roof, hums magical lullabies through the night.
Pip & Nibbin
Pip of Twilight Tower watches over the fairy kingdom from the Watchman’s Tower using a magical blue telescope, helping keep the fairy castle and garden safe for everyone. Nibbin Pebbletoe of Petal Nook is a shy fairy with a kind heart. Her cozy corner cottage, with its purple door and blue and red flowers, is a favorite stop for woodland animals.
Tilly & Bramble
Tilly Twinkletoes of Petal Patch Cottage loves dancing in the morning sunshine, leaving sparkly footprints on the grass. Her home has bright pink doors, twirly vines, and tiny yellow windows. Bramble Thimblekin of Thistlewick Haven is a brave explorer who maps secret garden tunnels. His cozy home has a red and yellow door, and a magical roof that changes color with the weather and his mood.
King Fionn and queen fiadh
Of course, we have King Fionn his lovely Queen Fiadh who live in the very extravagant magical fairy castle which really stands out when entering the garden, a huge tree stump with a big yellow door covered in ivy and what actually looks like 2 separate house but I have been informed this is all part of the castle, very impressive I wonder will we get an invite to any balls or festivities?
Come and sit for a while and see if you can hear the bells tinkling or Hooter or Puck hooting but remember to be very careful not to disturb the fairy house as they are very shy and secretive.Â
