Carlow will mark Positive Ageing Week 2025 with the Living Well Expo, a special event celebrating healthy, connected, and age-friendly living. The Expo takes place on Wednesday, 1st October 2025, from 10.30am to 1.00pm at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel, Carlow.

The Living Well Expo will feature a wide range of supports and activities designed to promote wellbeing for people aged 55 and over. Attendees can avail of free health checks and hearing checks, meet with local service providers, and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

The morning will also showcase an engaging guest speaker programme, including:

Niall Ronan – Positive Ageing and Purpose
Dr Joseph Tierney – Rethinking and Reimagining Ageing
Carlow Emergency Services – Be Winter Ready
The Expo is free to attend and promises an inspiring morning of learning, connection, and community.

The event is hosted by Age Friendly Carlow and the Carlow Older People’s Council, with support from Carlow County Development Partnership and Healthy Carlow.
