Chamber President’s Lunch

Join County Carlow Chamber of Commerce in one of their highlights events of the year, providing members – and indeed non-members – with the opportunity to network in the run-up to the Christmas period. This year’s Chamber President’s Lunch has the Theme: ‘Embracing New Directions – Discussions on Pivoting, Adapting & Evolving’.
The Chamber is pleased to announce that the sponsor of this year’s event is Carlow County Council.
‘I’m delighted that Carlow County Council can support the Carlow Chamber President’s Business Lunch – an event that truly highlights the power of connection and collaboration. Networking is the lifeblood of local enterprise, driving innovation, opportunity, and growth.’ Explains Cathaoirleach, Ken Murnane. ‘ I’m proud as chair of the Council to again work with the Carlow Chamber in celebrating the businesses and leaders who continue to make County Carlow a dynamic place to live, work, and invest.’
The President’s Lunch will feature a fireside chat with two high profile personalities who have recently undertaken their own new journeys. Journalist and broadcaster, Miriam O’Callaghan recently launched her memoir entitled ‘Miriam: Life, Work & Everything’ and former professional rugby player, coach and pundit Bernard Jackman is about to launch a new business venture.
‘We are delighted to have Carlow County Council as sponsors, their support of the Chamber and the business community is much appreciated. I am really looking forward to the fireside chat with Miriam and Bernard – both of whom have had varied and illustrious careers in their respective fields, and who have recently undertaken exciting new directions.’ Says President of the Chamber, Norah Ryan. ‘As business people, we are all familiar with that need to evolve, to grow and to pivot. Trying something new can be as daunting as it is exciting. So, it will be very interesting to get an insight into their experiences and perspectives on taking on new challenges.’
The President’s Lunch will take place on the 5th of December from 12pm – 3pm. Tickets are available on the Chamber website for €75 for members and €85 for non-members
