Its very difficult to get back into the swing of things following the long hot summer we have just enjoyed but I am here with some helpful hints and tip to compose the healthiest lunch box ever for your children!
Having to prepare a snack lunch for your children every day can be very difficult, especially just after the summer when you are used to a fresh and light diet because you should at least try to provide them with all the nutrients they need. We do not always have original ideas to present an excellent packed lunch, tasty but at the same time light; so, I’m here to recommend some recipes that could be widely appreciated.
First of all, it is important to remember to have to combine carbohydrates, fruit, vegetables and fish or meat. A healthy diet is equivalent to a diet as varied as possible. Also, do not forget to guarantee your children the correct daily water intake! Now let’s move on to recipes;
For Children Who Love Sweets
We can create a picnic lunch:
- Sandwiches with jam
- Fresh seasonal fruit already cut and washed
- A slice of homemade cake, but not dirty, like a carrot cake
- Homemade cookies
For Children Who Love a Salty Bag Lunch
- Wrap with ham, cheese, olives and corn
- White meatballs
- Carrot and cucumber sticks
- Seasonal fruit and dried fruit
For Children Who Love Dishes Cooked At Home
We can add an omelette with herbs and parmesan. In addition to fresh fruit and vegetables, a small sandwich and dried fruit, we can, in fact, insert into the packed lunch even the diced omelette and a mini fork, to eat something that goes beyond the usual sandwich.
If the children can’t give up the sandwich, then we try to enrich it with some special ingredients or bread!
We can change the type of bread and offer a rolled wrap. Serve with cooked ham or cheese or sliced beef, well-washed lettuce, thinly sliced tomatoes and cheese. Let’s close it well so that it does not open and stop it with aluminium paper.
The most classic of the off-shore paninis is the one with the omelette: let’s try to enrich it with tomatoes, peas, cheese or vegetables, to make it special. To be served with mayonnaise and salad. The classic alternative is the sandwich with breaded chicken cutlet: with lettuce and thinly sliced tomatoes are a must.
